Fairview Estate & Gardens sits on a coffee farm in Kiambu that my parents bought in 1978 — at a time of profound Kenyan change, when acquiring and holding land like this required vision, struggle, and sacrifice. My mother Jane became Kenya’s first commercial rose grower on this land. My father, Ambassador Leonard Kibinge, helped shape the country’s place in the world from it. The farm has always been a place of quiet ambition. What I am building here is a continuation of that — a destination wedding and events venue that draws on the estate’s heritage, its extraordinary natural landscape, and the family story threaded through every corner of it. Fairview is where celebrations happen on ground that was hard-won and well-loved, long before the first guests arrived.
